Disney unveils new cruise ship class and reveals Disney Believe designs
Disney Cruise Line has shared a first look at an entirely new three-ship class arriving from 2029 while revealing Moana, Toy Story and Peter Pan designs for Disney Believe.

Claire Weiss is Portfolio Executive Creative Director for Disney Cruise Line at Walt Disney Imagineering, where she helps shape the creative direction, design and immersive storytelling of Disney's cruise ships and onboard environments.
Weiss believes that every space has a story to tell. Her work combines design with themed entertainment, using architecture, artwork and carefully considered details to create environments in which passengers can feel part of a Disney story.
In August 2026, Weiss presented Disney Cruise Line's first preview of an entirely new class of three ships due to begin entering service in 2029. The vessels will sit between Disney Wonder and Disney Wish in size, giving the cruise line greater flexibility to visit new destinations and reach new audiences.
She also revealed the first major design elements for Disney Believe, the fourth Wish-class ship, which is scheduled to begin sailing in late 2027. These include a Moana-inspired Grand Hall, Woody and Buzz Lightyear sculptures on the stern, and Tinker Bell artwork on the bow.
Earlier in her Imagineering career, Weiss held the title of Creative Director. She has participated in presentations examining the development of Disney California Adventure and contributed to Disney Imagineering creative projects including the Disney Paper Parks series.
Her current work places her among the senior creative figures involved in Disney Cruise Line's expansion and the development of its next generation of ships.
