Bolette is an ocean cruise ship operated by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. She was originally delivered in 2000 as Amsterdam for Holland America Line before being acquired by Fred. Olsen and renamed Bolette in 2020.
Fred. Olsen's current ship page lists 62,735 GT, a length of 238 metres, width of 34.45 metres, 690 cabins, 1,273 guests at standard occupancy and a crew of 650. A current Fred. Olsen itinerary page additionally publishes a maximum speed of 24.5 knots.
The ship was built by Fincantieri and delivered in 2000. Fincantieri's original Amsterdam specification records 60,600 GT at delivery, 238 metres overall length, 690 passenger cabins, 359 crew cabins and a design draught of 7.8 metres. The difference between the original 60,600 GT figure and Fred. Olsen's current 62,735 GT figure reflects the vessel's later/current registered configuration; Deck7 uses the operator's current figure.
Capacity
Fred. Olsen publishes 1,273 guests as standard occupancy, which is not necessarily the vessel's technical maximum passenger capacity. Deck7 therefore does not treat 1,273 as a maximum-capacity figure in the ship index. The original builder specification gives a maximum of 2,375 persons aboard, but that figure includes passengers and crew and must not be used as maximum passenger capacity.
Identification
Bolette carries IMO number 9188037. Current AIS databases consistently report MMSI 311000986, call sign C6ES3 and Bahamas flag/registry. These dynamic identifiers should be periodically reverified.
Environmental systems
Deck7 has not assigned confirmed LNG, shore-power or exhaust-gas-cleaning-system installation details without sufficiently clear current ship-specific primary documentation. Bolette is therefore recorded as a conventionally fuelled vessel with LNG status No, while shore-power and EGCS status remain Not confirmed.
