Independence of the Seas is a Freedom Class cruise ship operated by Royal Caribbean International. Built in Turku, Finland, she entered service in 2008 and made her maiden voyage in May that year.

Independence of the Seas received Royal Caribbean's major Royal Amplified upgrade in 2018, adding and updating a range of attractions, dining and entertainment experiences.
