MSC Grandiosa is the first Meraviglia Plus-class cruise ship operated by MSC Cruises. Built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France, the vessel was delivered on 31 October 2019, named in Hamburg on 9 November and entered passenger service the following day.
The ship has a gross tonnage of 181,541 and measures 331.43 metres in length with a moulded beam of 43 metres. MSC Cruises currently publishes accommodation for up to 6,334 guests in 2,421 cabins, supported by approximately 1,704 crew.
Accommodation
Accommodation aboard MSC Grandiosa ranges from studio, interior and ocean-view cabins to balcony cabins, Aurea suites and the MSC Yacht Club. Yacht Club accommodation includes interior, deluxe, duplex and Royal suites, with selected suites offering private whirlpool baths and large terraces.
Dining and onboard facilities
The centrepiece of the ship is Galleria Grandiosa, a 111-metre indoor promenade covered by a 95-metre LED sky screen. Other major facilities include the Infinity Atrium, Théâtre La Comédie, Carousel Lounge, Atmosphere Pool, Wild Forest Aquapark, MSC Aurea Spa, sports facilities, bowling and extensive children's areas developed with LEGO and Chicco.
Dining options include main restaurants and buffet venues alongside speciality restaurants such as Butcher's Cut, Kaito Teppanyaki, Kaito Sushi Bar and Hola! Tacos & Cantina. The ship also offers a broad collection of bars and lounges, including Masters of the Sea, Sky Lounge and the Jean-Philippe chocolate, crêpe and gelato venues.

It also introduced selective catalytic reduction technology to the MSC Cruises fleet, alongside advanced wastewater treatment, ballast-water treatment, heat recovery and other energy-efficiency measures.
